ValuesEdge's Site Privacy Policy
Effective and Last Updated: March 2026
ValuesEdge, LLC (“ValuesEdge”) respects your privacy. In addition to offering a range of privacy features, ValuesEdge has created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our commitment to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding information about you, information that could reasonably be used to identify you, or information associated with such identifiers (“Personal Information”).
Please take a moment to review the terms of this Privacy Policy. Please note that certain features or services discussed in this Privacy Policy may not be offered on the Site at any particular time.
Scope of this Policy
This policy applies to the Site at ValuesEdge.com and any related sites operated by ValuesEdge that post a link to this Privacy Policy (collectively “the Site”). It also applies to information we collect on the Site, and through e-mail, text and other electronic communication between you and the Site. ValuesEdge complies with applicable data protection legislation and regulations (“Applicable Law”), which govern the processing of Personal Information and grant various rights in respect of that data. The Site contain links to or from third-party websites over which we have no control.
ValuesEdge is not responsible for the privacy policies, content or practices of third parties or other websites to whom you choose to link from the Site or to whom you provide Personal Information for processing by ValuesEdge or others. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those other websites and third parties to understand how they collect, use and share your information.
Type of Information We Collect
We collect Personal Information only if required to provide our services, fulfill legitimate business purposes or comply with Applicable Law. The information we collect will depend on the type of account you register for and/or the services you select or enroll in.
We collect the following categories of information when you provide it directly or visit our Site: Personal Information, demographic information, behavioral information and indirect information. Sometimes we collect combinations of all these types of information. In each case, the Site will indicate whether certain information is required to use a particular service.
Personal Information refers to information that can identify you or another individual. We do not collect Personal Information unless you choose to log into the Site, request services, or otherwise provide it. Examples include your name, email address, telephone number, credit card information, contact details, login credentials, support tickets, feedback, service-related materials, and billing information.
Demographic information refers to population-based characteristics that are not unique to you, such as household size or ZIP/postal code.
ValuesEdge also collects, or logs, certain information that does not personally identify you when you visit our Site. This information includes your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address and any websites from which you accessed the Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider. We log IP addresses and domain names and aggregate them for system administration and Site usage monitoring. This aggregated data helps us measure visits, average time spent on the Site, pages viewed, and other usage statistics, enabling us to evaluate and improve our content and services.
How Information is Used
Personal Information may be disclosed to trusted persons working with ValuesEdge when they are involved in completing, delivering or supporting your order of services offered through the Site. These parties may include organizations that assist with hosting our web servers, analyzing data, providing marketing support, tracking sales, processing credit card or other payments, and delivering customer service. We may also share aggregated, anonymous information about visitors to the Site with third parties so they can better understand our audience and how the Site is used.
By logging into the Site or expressly opting in when presented with choices, you consent—subject to local law—to our use of your information in at least the following ways: to create a profile based on the information you provide; to contact you regarding Site updates, informational and service-related communications, including important security updates; to send additional communications, information, and promotional materials such as newsletters; to provide the services you request or to fulfill the purpose for which you provide the information; to support any other use described at the time you provide the information or later consent; to enable you to provide feedback or contact us and for us to respond; and to generate internal reports regarding Site usage.
We may disclose such information to third parties to market their products or services to you, but only if you have consented to such disclosures.
We also may share personal information with third parties under the following circumstances: (1) if we are required to do so by law or legal process (such as a court order or subpoena); (2) in response to requests by government agencies, such as law enforcement authorities; (3) to meet internal and/or regulatory compliance; (4) to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; (5) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical or other harm or financial loss; (6) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity; (7) to assist in the collection of any debts you owe ValuesEdge; or (8) in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (including in a reorganization, dissolution or liquidation).
Because ValuesEdge is a US company and information collected on our Site is stored in whole or in part in the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States and will be subject to U.S. law. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
In the above situations, the recipients of your data may potentially be located in countries where data protection legislation differs from those in your own country. For example, if you reside in an EU member state, you should be aware that EU authorities do not generally consider non-EU countries to provide an adequate or equivalent level of data protection compared to EU regulations.
Our collection, storage and use of Personal Information—and any processing of Personal Information by a Processor—shall be governed by our Privacy Policy and, for residents of EU member states, the GDPR.
Posting Personal Information to Public Areas of the Site
We do not display your Personal Information without your permission. However, if you choose to post Personal Information in public areas of the Site—such as articles, blogs, reviews, forums, or chat rooms—this information may be collected and used by others over whom ValuesEdge has no control. We cannot manage or prevent the use of information made publicly available by you.
Changes/Modifications
You may access, review, correct, update, restrict the use of, or delete your account profile information or other Personal Information with ValuesEdge at any time. These actions may be completed by logging into the Site and following the available instructions, or by contacting us at privacy@valuesedge.com. Upon request, you may also obtain the Personal Information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. Before providing access to, or modifying or deleting, your Personal Information, we reserve the right to verify your identity and the information subject to your request.
Please note that, in accordance with our routine corporate record-keeping practices, we may delete certain records that contain your Personal Information. Particularly, any Personal Information that is no longer needed for the purposes specified herein will be deleted.
If you delete or close your account or account profile information with ValuesEdge altogether, ValuesEdge may retain an archival copy which is not accessible to you or third parties online. The archival copy is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for audit and record-keeping purposes. We will retain logs, demographic data, indirect information, and statistical information about you and keep an archival copy of this information in an anonymous form. We will also retain aggregate anonymized information. If your Personal Information was previously accessed by others through the Site, we cannot delete that information or any copies stored in their systems.
How Long We Keep Personal Information
We typically retain Personal Information for the duration of any contractual relationship and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for a period thereafter as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, to protect ValuesEdge from legal claims, and to support our business operations. When Personal Information is no longer needed, we will delete it or take steps to anonymize it, unless a longer retention period is required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
Other Important Information
Security
You are responsible for ensuring that your log-in credentials (your username and password) are kept confidential. ValuesEdge has implemented technical and organizational measures designed to secure Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. Notwithstanding such measures, the Internet is an open system and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use Personal Information for improper purposes. Please consider this prior to submitting Personal Information to us via the Site.
We also use cookies and web beacons to administer our Site and deliver a personalized experience. For additional detailed information on each of these, please see below.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not intended for children under 13, and Personal Information from children under 13 will not knowingly be collected. Personal Information on children under 16 will only be knowingly collected with the consent of their parent or guardian. Children's privacy is a serious matter and parents are encouraged to play an active role in their children's online experience at all times.
Use of Cookies, Web Beacons, and JavaScript
Cookies
ValuesEdge uses “cookies” to help personalize and maximize your online experience and time online. A cookie is a text file that is either stored in your computer's memory temporarily or placed on your hard drive by a Web page server. Cookies are not used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to your computer and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
When you return to the Site, cookies enable us to retrieve the information you previously provided, so you can easily use the features that you customized. Because of our use of cookies, we can deliver faster and more accurate results and a more personalized site experience. For example, a cookie helps us to recall your specific information (such as username, password and preferences).
Most cookies expire after a defined period of time, or you can delete cookie files stored on your computer any time. While most Web browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, you can reset your Web browser to refuse cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being set. However, if you choose to decline cookies, that may hinder performance and negatively impact your experience on the Site. For example, without cookies, you will not be able to set personal preferences.
We may allow third party cookies as part of online advertising campaigns to determine and track site traffic landing from affiliated websites or ValuesEdge's advertising banners that have been placed on the websites of third parties.
Web Beacons
The Site may also contain electronic images known as Web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs) that help us count users who visit specific pages and support the delivery of co-branded services. Web beacons do not access your Personal Information; rather, they allow us to compile aggregated statistics about Site usage. They collect only a limited set of information, such as a cookie identifier, the time and date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the beacon appears. Because web beacons function like any other content request on a webpage, you cannot opt out of them directly. However, they can be rendered ineffective by opting out of cookies or adjusting your browser's cookie settings.
ValuesEdge uses analytic services providers (“Analytic Companies”) and Cookies to improve our services, enhance user experience and analyze how the Site is used. Aside from approximate location information (based on IP address), the information collected by the Analytic Companies consists primarily of anonymous traffic information, including browser type, device details, and language settings. This information is used to understand how visitors access and interact with the Site and is not used to profile individual users.
Opting Out
ValuesEdge provides users with the ability to opt-out of or discontinue receiving communications from ValuesEdge that are unrelated to your transactions on the Site. If you no longer wish to continue receiving such communications, please follow the opt-out or unsubscribe link and/or instructions included in the e-mail, or send your opt-out request to privacy@valuesedge.com. You may need to contact affiliates, business partners or other third parties directly in order to cease receiving communications from those third parties.
Please note that these opt-out or unsubscribe options do not apply to communications relating to the administration of services, contracts, support or other administrative and transactional matters, where the primary purpose of the communications is not promotional.
Third Party Interaction
The Site contains links to external websites that ValuesEdge does not control. When you click on one of these links, you will no longer be transacting business through the Site. These third-party websites maintain their own privacy policies, and we do not have any control over their practices. Before providing any personal information on a linked website, you should review that website's privacy policy. Please note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, nor are we liable for any misuse of your personal information by those sites.
Special Admonitions for International Use
The owner of the Site is based in the State of Colorado in the United States. Access to the Site may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. If you are located outside the United States and you contact us or provide information through the Site, please be advised that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States, and that by submitting information, you explicitly authorize such transfer.
Your European Rights
We do not share Personal Information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes unless you affirmatively agree to, or opt in to, such disclosure. In accordance with Article 77 of the General Data Protection Regulation, Europeans also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or of an alleged infringement of the GDPR.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
ValuesEdge reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. ValuesEdge will notify you about any significant changes by providing a prominent notice on the Site and indicate at the top of this policy to show when it was most recently updated. The changes will be effective as of posting on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes indicates your acceptance of these changes.
